WRHBA is the voice of the residential land development, home building and professional renovation industry in Waterloo Region since 1946.

WRHBA’s network of professionals effectively manage industry issues across the region including the cities of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and the Townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich.

WRHBA’s over 160 member representatives are comprised of Builders, Developers, Renovators, Financial Specialists, Manufacturers, Service Professionals, Suppliers, & Trade Contractors.

WRHBA is actively involved in the communities where our members and their customers live, work and play. Through ongoing representation to municipal and regional government, media relations and consumer education, we address important issues head on and have a strong presence that benefits members and contributes to housing affordability and the well-being of communities within our region and across Canada.

WRHBA encourages innovations and excellence in the planning and building of sustainable communities and in the redevelopment and renovation of existing communities.  We work to encourage government at all levels to establish fair and effective policies that impact the building and development industry and its customers.  We regularly facilitate discussions between the industry and the federal, provincial, regional and local governments with respect to issues that affect development, building, and home ownership in Waterloo Region.

WRHBA proudly supports RenoMark, the industry’s mark of excellence for renovators. Renovate with confidence by using one of our renovator members who have raised the bar by meeting the criteria to join the program, and now proudly display the RenoMark logo with their company.
